Job Overview

We do not write fluffy brand manifestos, clever puns, or corporate mission statements. At Evoke®, copy has one job: to sell. Your mission is to master the voice of our clients' customers and write the words that force a conversion. From 3-second TikTok hooks to long-form advertorials, you are the psychological engine behind our acquisition funnels.

What You Will Do (Responsibilities):

  • Write aggressive, high-converting primary text, headlines, and descriptions for Meta, Google, and TikTok ad campaigns.

  • Script high-performing UGC video hooks, angle frameworks, and full Video Sales Letters (VSLs).

  • Architect and write high-converting landing pages, advertorials, and post-click funnels that maximize AOV and conversion rate.

  • Develop modular copy testing matrices, systematically isolating and testing different emotional angles and logical justifications.

  • Dive deep into voice-of-customer (VOC) research, conducting customer interviews and mining competitor reviews to find the exact phrases buyers use.

  • Collaborate daily with media buyers to identify which copy angles are driving the lowest CPA and highest LTV.

  • Audit newly onboarded client websites and funnels to optimize their existing conversion rates via rapid copy tweaks.

  • Maintain a massive, rapid output of fresh copy variations to combat ad fatigue across dozens of active accounts.

What You Bring to the Table (Requirements):

  • 3+ years writing hardcore, direct-response copy specifically for paid acquisition channels and performance marketing.

  • A swipe file and portfolio of live ads, emails, and landing pages that have generated proven, measurable revenue.

  • Absolute mastery of behavioral psychology, cognitive biases, and consumer buying triggers.

  • The chameleon-like ability to write in multiple brand voices—from a luxury, high-ticket aesthetic to a raw, aggressive Gen-Z streetwear tone.

  • Extensive experience writing concise, punchy scripts for short-form video ads (TikTok/Reels/Shorts).

  • Zero emotional attachment to your words; if your favorite headline bombs in the ad account, you kill it immediately and write ten more.

  • A strong understanding of compliance policies on Meta and Google (knowing exactly how to write aggressive, persuasive copy that doesn't trigger algorithmic account bans).

  • Extreme self-reliance, flawless grammar, and the ability to hit tight execution deadlines in a blisteringly fast-paced agency environment.

Bonus Points (Nice-to-Haves):

  • Experience building and writing email/SMS retention flows (Klaviyo) to maximize backend LTV.

  • Basic wireframing skills (Figma/Balsamiq) to visually map out how your landing page copy should flow.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range / Compensation: $75,000 - $110,000 USD Base + Revenue-Share Bonuses on specific funnels.
